A milkshake is a sweet, cold beverage which is usually made from milk, ice cream, or iced milk, and flavorings or sweeteners such as butterscotch, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, or fruit syrup. Outside the United States, milkshakes using ice cream or iced milk are sometimes called a thick milkshake or thick shake or in New England a frappe, to differentiate them from thinner forms of flavored milk.

Nutella Milkshake

Nutella Milkshake

3 tbsps nutella
5 scoops vanilla ice cream
100 mls skim milk
Milk chocolate to sprinkle
1. Add 5 tablespoons vanilla ice cream in a blender
2. Then add 100 ml of milk
3. Add 3 teaspoons of chocolate hazelnut sauce and blend
4. Finally, sprinkle with freshly ground chocolate powder

Red Velvet Mocha Milkshake

Red Velvet Mocha Milkshake

1 cup ice cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs cream cheese
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp instant coffee
1/2 tsp red food colouring
cream and sprinkles optional
1. Add 1 cup of vanilla ice cream in a blender
2. Add 1/2 cup milk
3. Add 2 tea spoons of cream cheese and 1 tea spoon of cocoa powder
4. Add 1/2 tea spoon of coffee powder and red food coloring
5. Then blend
6. When finished add some sprinkle
7. The red velvet mocha milkshake complete!

Cappuccina Thick Shake

Cappuccina Thick Shake

2 shots of espresso
1 cup milk
4 large scoops ice cream
This recipe makes 2 cups
1. Add 1 cup of ice espresso into a blender
2. Add 1 cup of milk
3. Add 4 cups vanilla ice cream in a blender
4. Blend Slow (20-30 seconds)

Banana Cream Pie Milkshake

1/4 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 banana
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream
1. Add 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract into a blender
2. Add 1 chopped bananas
3. Then add 1 cup vanilla ice cream and blend
4. Add whipped cream on top!

Breakfast Shake

Breakfast Shake

2 cup Pineapple juice
200g greek yogurt
2 bananas
2 Week-Bix or similar
1. Add 2 cups pineapple juice and 200g Greek yogurt into a blender
Tips: can be any low-fat yogurt
2. Add two chopped bananas
3. Add two graham crackers
4. Blend slowly
